Count your stock with a stock take
Count what is on a shelf, compare it with what the books say, and apply the differences as adjustments.

- 1
Start a count
Press Start a count. Choose Which shelf are you counting?, give it a name under Call it, pick Who is counting, and press Open the sheet.
- 2
Count the shelf
Every item you stock has a line showing what the Books say. Type what you find in Counted. Leave a line blank if you have not counted it: blank is not zero.
- 3
Watch the variance
The Variance column fills in as you type. Short lines turn red and over lines turn amber, so a slip on the keypad shows before you apply anything.
- 4
Save as you go
Press Save to keep what you have counted. You can come back to an open sheet from the Stock takes list.
- 5
Apply the adjustments
When you are done, press Save, then Apply adjustments. DiveHQ records an adjustment for every counted line that differs from the books.
